Travels and stuff

I know, I know, it's been ages. Partly because Lappy and I have been reuniting privately, partly because I've been busy, sick and lazy, and partly because I discovered Facebook. It's a social networking site, but more private than some of the others, and more populated by adults than teenagers (at least from what I can tell). I wasn't too keen at first, just joined it as a friend from work said it was a good way to keep in touch when he was leaving. Just in the last week or so I've realised I know heaps of people on it, and that it could be a good way to keep in contact when I travel back home. Also I managed to upload photos pain free, and you know how important that is to me (being technically a tiny bit slow).

Back on topic:

I'm getting lots of emails asking what my travel plans are. So I don't have to repeat it 50 times, I've written a short rundown of my current plans, also on Facebook.

I have a pretty fluid attitude to travel at the moment. My current thinking - subject to change at the slightest shift in my moods and whims - is as follows:

• 1 June - last day at work @ DB (that's definite)
• 2 June - Ireland for Maria's 30th (also definite)
• 8th June-ish - Paris?
• 11th June - back in London by this date (choir, therefore definite)
• 14th June - Choir Concert - will be awesome, come if you're in London!
• rest of June - pack, possibly work if I can get some, sightseeing etc in London
• June 30th - BIRTHDAY BABY YEAH! Also Leaving Do concurrently so plan for a big night out if you're in London or can get here! (definite)
• July 5th - Lease ends... at the moment so does my London life :-(
• July 7th and 8th - Band Camp! AKA Singing Weekend (definite)
• 9th July - Leave the UK
• Following 3 weeks - trek around Italy and probably Turkey (at least Istanbul)
• 27th July - meet Katherine in Prague (definite but my flight is not yet booked as I'm not sure where I'll be coming from, see previous line)
• late July/early August - Amsterdam?
• slightly later August - Bath?
• Mid August - Brisbane via Singapore
• Late August - Trish's wedding planning weekend in Sydney
• September and October - do nothing but starve and go to the gym
• Late October - be a bridesmaid in My Best Friend's Wedding! (definite)

alternatively... everything up to and including choir after Ireland, and then...

• Get a job for a few more months and not leave UK until late August
• Late August - Sian and Alex's wedding in Wales.
• Travel as above in July but in Sept.
• Go home by late Sept when my return ticket is valid until.
• October: Starve, Gym, Wedding (DEFINITE)

So there you go! More than you ever wanted to know about the workings of my time management *skills*

Anything not marked (definite) is subject to change without prior notice. Refunds will not be given on time missed if I change my plans. Katherine is the exception as she's booked her ticket ;-)
